Cecil Andrew Salisbury Obituary (1924

Cecil A. Salisbury, 92, of Grayville, Illinois, died Sunday, June 25, 2017, at his home. He was born July 18, 1924, in St. Francisville, Illinois, the son of H.H. Salisbury and Lela (Taylor) Salisbury. He was married to Marjorie (May) Salisbury and she preceded him in death. Cecil worked in the area oilfields and was a United States Navy veteran having served during World War II. Survivors include daughter Diana (Rodney) Miller of Albion, Illinois; grandson Andrew (Tina) Fryman of Enfield, Illinois; great grandchildren Nathan, Hannah, Thomas, Gabriel and Samuel. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two brothers. In keeping with Cecils wishes, his remains were cremated. Visitation is 9-10am, Friday, June 30, 2017, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville with memorial service at 10 am. Burial with military rites will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.
