Dayarambhai P. Patel, 89, of Grayville, Illinois, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at his home. He was born November 26, 1933, in Gujarat, India, the son of Parasottambhai and Kuvarben Patel. He was married to Jasuben D. Patel, and she survives. Mr. Patel was a retired school teacher. Survivors include his wife, Jasuben D. Patel; son Ashokkumar Patel and his wife Veena; daughter Maheshwariben Patel and her husband Kiran V. Patel; brothers Tipee Patson, Jay Patson, Parbhu Patel; sisters Revaben Patel, Manjuben Patel; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Narottambhai Patel. A private, family visitation and funeral will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville, Illinois, with cremation to follow services.
