Kathryn E. Queen Obituary (1944

Kathryn E. Queen, 74, of Evansville, Indiana, died Thursday, February 21, 2019, and Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She was born July 9, 1944, in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, the daughter of Cyril and Nellie (Mayville) Ayers. She was married to Daniel Queen and he survives. Kathryn was a retired certified nurses assistant. She enjoyed camping, walking, country music and shopping. Survivors include mother Nellie Limp of Evansville; sons Rickey (Tammy) Pruitt of Carmi, Illinois, Chad (Daphne) Pruitt of Fairfield, Illinois, Joe (Vickie) Pruitt of Arizona; daughter Kathy (Bobby) Bolton of Evansville; brothers Benny Ayers of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Cecil (Carolyn) Ayers of Evansville; sisters Linda Hunsinger of Evansville, Connie (Mercer) Shaw of Indiana, Alma Dunn of Evansville, Flora Mae Craig of Kentucky; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Cyril Ayers; and first husband Henry Pruitt. Visitation is 5-7 pm, Monday, February 25, 2019, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi. There will be no funeral service and burial will be at a later date in Big Prairie Cemetery near Carmi.
