Lorna M. Hampsten Obituary (1945

Lorna M. Hampsten, 75, of Grayville, Illinois, died Monday, January 11, 2021, at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She was born December 5, 1945, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of Bernard and Audra Fay (Simpson) Coleman. She married Richard Hampsten in 2013, and he survives. Lorna was a nurse. Survivors include husband Richard Hampsten of Grayville; son Lance (Lisa) Qualmann of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; step-sons Darrin Hampsten of Belmont, Illinois, Brian (Linda) Hampsten of Evansville; daughters Landra (Charlie) Kerekes of Tennessee, Leuren Boggs of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; step-daughter Bridgett (John) Woodall of Albion, Illinois; brothers Lynn (Beverly) Coleman of South Dakota, Larry (Pattie) Coleman of Evansville; sister Lanette (Jim) Eager of Oregon; Grandchildren Gabe Kerekes, Caleb Kerekes, Bryce Boggs, Simon Boggs, Will Qualmann, Levi Qualmann, Jude Qualmann; step-grandchildren Jillian Woodall, Felicia Hampsten, Ashlee Hampsten, Derick Hampsten, Tyler Hampsten; several step-great-grandchildren including locally Logan and Archer. Lorna is preceded in death by her parents. In keeping with Lornas wishes, her remains were cremated and a celebration of her life will be at a later date once the Covid-19 crisis has passed. Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of arrangements.
