Marilyn Fay Miser

Marilyn Fay Miser, 88, of Grayville, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at her home. She was born August 10, 1929, in East Alton, Illinois, the daughter of William E. and Annabelle (Owen) Martin. She married Harold Miser in Keensburg, Illinois, on November 14, 1980, and he survives.

Marilyn attended the United Methodist Church in Grayville. She was a master beautician, an avid reader and loved her family and her pet cats.

Survivors include husband, Harold Miser; daughter Melissa (Greg) Doty, all of Grayville; brother Dallas Flatt of Wood River, Illinois; granddaughter Hannah Nichole Winebarger DeGraw and her husband John; great granddaughter Kynzi; and special home health nurse Rachel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Ronald and Carroll Martin; and grandson Jonathan Winebarger.

Visitation and funeral are Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Visitation is at 10 am and funeral is at noon. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.
