Nedra June Way

Nedra June Way, 85, of Grayville, Illinois, died Saturday, August 31, 2024, at her home. She was born November 26, 1938, in Princeton, Indiana, the daughter of Edgar and Rosella (Hasse) Whitten. She was married to John William Bill Way on December 7, 1961, and he survives. Nedra was a nurse, member of the Catholic Church and a United States Air Force veteran. Survivors include her husband, Bill Way of Grayville; son Scott Way of Chicago, Illinois; brother Chares Whitten of Evansville, Indiana; grandchildren Matthew Black, Elijah Way, Nolan Way; great-grandchildren Kegan Fisher and Julia Black. She is preceded in death by her parents; and bother Rick Whitten.A graveside committal service with Military Honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.
