Rita D. Forest

Rita D. Forest, 93, of Grayville, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi, Illinois. She was born December 27, 1923, in Leominster, Massachusetts, the daughter of Robert and Eva (Marcil) Rouisse. She was married to David L. Forest and he preceded her in death in the year 2007.

Rita was a homemaker and member of the St. Francis Catholic Church in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

Survivors include daughter Jeanne Randall of Grayville; sons David of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dennis of Ocean Park, Washington, Larry of Peterborough, New Hampshire; brother Robert Rouisse of the State of Florida; sister Lorraine Stevenson of Fitchburg; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother Norman Rouisse.

In keeping with Ritas wishes, her remains were cremated and there are no services. Her cremated remains will be returned to Massachusetts at a later date.

Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of all arrangements.
