Vera L. Terrell Obituary (1940

Vera L. Terrell, 80, of Crossville, Illinois, died Friday, May 21, 2021, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, Illinois. She was born August 6, 1940, in Crossville, the daughter of Charles and Jennie (Lathrip) Crane. She was married to Donald W. Terrell and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2018. Vera was a home health care worker and member of Zion Methodist Church north of Carmi. She enjoyed gardening and cooking holiday dinners for her family. Survivors include sons Alan (Vicki) Stratton of Crossville, Donald Terrell, Jr. of Decatur, Illinois; daughters Anna (Ben) Bell of Crossville, Anisa Bassemier of Charleston, Illinois, Deborah (Rick) Ferguson of Albany, Kentucky; brother Michael (Faye) Crane of Calhoun, Illinois; grandchildren Jennie, Jamie, Crystal, Thomas, Tesa, Thomas Dale, Stephanie, Damion, Nicole, Veronica Nicole, Nathan, Jacob, Alan Dale, Kendal; 30 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters Alena Stratton and Anita Sue Stratton. Visitation and funeral are Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville. Visitation is at noon and funeral is at 2 pm. Burial is in Stokes Chapel Cemetery near Crossville. Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville is in charge of arrangements.
